Coming from a fourth-generation real estate and hospitality family from Cape Verde, Jahira brings unparalleled expertise and a personal connection to the industry. Her entrepreneurial journey includes building the Sales & Marketing Automation Function from the ground up at African Leadership Group—serving over 100 stakeholders across the US, Europe, and South Africa—and being one of the first 100 employees at MongoDB. She started her career at JP Morgan in New York, gaining critical financial and business acumen that now drives her success in hospitality.

Jahira holds dual degrees in Hospitality and Tourism Management, and Integrated Marketing, from Pace University in New York. With a passion for curating culturally immersive, high-end experiences, she draws inspiration from having lived in over eight cities, including New York, Barcelona, Geneva, and Johannesburg, each of which has sharpened her understanding of diverse cultures, design, and luxury experiences.
